Heads or Tails is a Other game offered by Playtech games provider.
It's the oldest game in the book, a simple case of flipping a coin and betting on whether it will land heads or tails face up. You probably haven't played this since you were a child (or since you last needed to make a tricky decision) so take a walk down memory lane and this time, perhaps earn a little cash off the result.
Begin by selecting the amount of money you wish to stake on the result. You can choose between $0.10 and $100, with various amounts in between. You can then select how many coins you want to toss, one or two. Then, select heads or tails - heads is shown as a cameo of a head, with tails portrayed as curved lines and dots.
Next you select how many times you want to flip the coins; one, two or three. If you select once, you only need to get the correct result once - on this, a $1.00 stake will earn you $1.90. Select twice, and you need to get the same result twice in a row. Naturally, select three and you need the same result three times in a row. You can do this by flipping one or two coins at the same time.
From a $1 stake, the highest amount I earned was $7.20, which was getting the correct result three times in a row with one coin.
Im not sure if this is a genius piece of simplistic game play or a waste of time. The maximum prize isn't huge and the chances of actually getting it (by predicting two coins correctly three times in an unbroken row) isn't huge, even with a $100 stake.
The game face itself is somewhat annoying. On the flip, you watch the coins be tossed and land - but they don't display the actual pictures used to denote each value. If its heads, the coins say HEADS OR TAILS and if its tails it is symbolised by a silver cross. Slightly odd, and it takes awhile to adjust to. But it's one for the purists of luck betting and can be enjoyable for a short amount of time.
